Front Magazine Clip

This Front Magazine Clip replaces the plastic front mounting clip included with a Boyds Stock fit for a Savage Axis rifle. The Magazine Clip also fits the Savage Axis II XP Hardwood stock.

The plastic pieces included with the Boyds Stock are notorious for cracking and splitting when applying torque to the mounting screws. Replacing the plastic mounting clip allows you to properly torque down the front mounting fastener. It also allows proper fit for the magazine clip to snap in place. The bottom insert on the magazine clip is removed to allow proper pillar bedding of the stock. The clip is CNC milled from 6061 aluminum.

Get rid of the plastic!

    Fantastic product that replaces the plastic mag clip in the Savage Axis. Well worth the money and it improves the accuracy of your rifle.

    Nice piece, but is not the exact Boyd's design. Piece is missing the hole guide that Boyd's comes with, to help keep in place. Shipping was $7 or $12 on website, but includes free shipping if buying through Amazon instead. I would purchase again, has great potential for a bedded stock if redesigned.
